PRESIDENTS and SOCIETIES WORKING with IUSS GOES TO SCHOOL
Attending to the two main objectives of the International Decade of Soils 2015 - 2024:
To stop Soil degradation, and to educate and to educate school children and raise awareness to achieve it,
Seeking to move from what is said and written, to what as soil science scientists we need to do and work to implement advance the objectives of the IUSS International Decade of the Soils in a real way, Presidents and former President of the IUSS got engaged with practicing of the educational project "THE IUSS GOES TO THE SCHOOL" since 2019.
Similarly, the IUSS former General Secretary Dr. Winfried Blum and Presidents from some Soil Science Societies and educative projects joined the launch of the project “THE IUSS GOES TO THE SCHOOL”.
On October 28, 2019, the educative project “Thus are the Soils of my Nation” joined to the efforts from “THE IUSS GOES TO THE SCHOOL” project with the support of the Mexican Soil Science Society:
